Delivered a “3D-printed microrobots” talk

I delivered a short talk about “3D-Printed Biodegradable Microrobots for Drug Delivery and Targeted Cell Labeling” in the 2018 MPI-IS retreat in Wertach, Germany.

Microscopic robots require completely different design and fabrications considerations in order to ensure functional complexity. If it is to operate inside living environment, biodegradability is a must. In my talk, I discussed how additive manufacturing technology can address such challenges and what we have achieved so far. The audience, about 200 researchers in the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (both Stuttgart and Tübingen campuses), included PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and the directors.
